Element Logic Celebrates Pride

Diversity, equality, and inclusion took center stage at Element Logic’s headquarters in Kløfta, Norway, as we recently hosted a vibrant summer party for employees. This event was not just a celebration of summer but also a powerful statement of the company’s commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) during Pride month. With colorful decorations, a joyful atmosphere, and the powerful message – be yourself – the celebration brought together our employees from various backgrounds, highlighting our commitment to an inclusive and diverse culture.

A Commitment to Justice Through DEI

Our dedication to DEI is a priority and Element Logic strives to create an environment where all employees feel valued and respected. This commitment is reflected in our core values, company culture, social programs, policies, compensation, practices across recruitment and professional development.

At the end of 2023 we had 806 full-time employees consisting of 663 male-identifying employees (82%), 151 female-identifying employees (18%), and three identifying as “Other” or “Prefer Not to Say”. We acknowledge the gender imbalance and are actively working towards improving gender equality and increasing representation of all genders in leadership positions. We view gender expression as an important dimension in respecting the LGBTQ+ community.

Celebrating Diversity

The summer party at the Norwegian headquarters was a vibrant and important celebration, with employees being encouraged to come dressed as themselves in whatever form that might be, underscoring two of our values; brave and passionate. The event aimed at celebrating Pride and opening the opportunity for employees to share their experiences and stories with each other in an informal and personal way.

Moving Forward with DEI Initiatives

Our DEI efforts are ongoing and evolving. Several initiatives have already been introduced to protect diversity and inclusion and prevent discrimination. We place a strong emphasis on educating our people about DEI throughout onboarding and across our internal learning platforms. In addition, we have updated our Code of Conduct, developed a new Supplier Code of Conduct, and improved our whistleblower channels.

A Great Place to Work

The results of our 2023 Great Place to Work survey reflect our success in creating an inclusive and supportive workplace. With 81% of employees agreeing that we are indeed a great place to work, the survey highlighted our commitment to fairness and inclusivity across all dimensions of diversity. Employees expressed confidence in our dedication to treating everyone fairly, regardless of economic status, race, sexual orientation, gender, age, or social status.

CONTINUOSLY IMPROVING: Our people believe we are a great place to work and that our organization treats people fairly regardless of economic status, race, sexual orientation, gender, age, or social status. But, the work towards an even better workplace never stops.

Future Aspirations

Looking ahead, we aim to reflect the diversity of the locations and cultures in which we operate. We want every employee to feel they can both be themselves and see themselves in Element Logic. We are committed to addressing inequalities within our operations and ensuring increased diversity and involvement across our industry and communities. We will continue to protect and enhance the environment of fairness and non-discrimination we have built, allowing all staff to proudly show who they are. We will keep recognizing, celebrating, and embracing our LGBTQ+ colleagues, and take pride in having them as part of our team. We remain dedicated to being a workplace where every individual can thrive and contribute meaningfully to our mission and vision and strive to do better every day
