Element Logic expands into the Benelux
Having won full distribution rights for AutoStore across Europe, Element Logic intends to expand its footprint even further: The agreement enables the technology and intralogistics company to establish a complete regional division in Elst, The Netherlands to serve the fast-increasing demand for robotic solutions and warehouse automization in the Benelux markets.
The territory expansion with full distribution rights for AutoStore across Europe will allow Element Logic to increase their presence in several markets, with The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg considered a top priority. Managing Director Rob Pauls at the Element Logic Benelux BV division has more than 20 years’ experience in logistics, and will be responsible for growth and sales activities in the entire region. Element Logic has been operational in the Netherlands since 2018, and have already set up facilities for Solar in Alkmaar. Obtaining full AutoStore distribution rights means the possibilities are limitless, and according to Pauls, there are many reasons why more Benelux companies should consider automating their warehouses:
The availability of staff is becoming increasingly scarce, and their costs form an important part of the total supply chain too. The ingenious AutoStore solution combined with Element Logic’s extensive experience and brilliant software, will promote growth for both our customers and Element Logic Benelux BV.

Customers demand 24-hour-delivery
Since Element Logic was established in 1985 in Norway, the country of origin for AutoStore, the company has continuously strengthened its position in Europe. Element Logic was responsible for installing the world´s first AutoStore system for Elotec in Norway, and later setting up the world´s largest installation for Boozt in Sweden. With the new European distribution rights and the subsequent full launch onto the Benelux market, Element Logic aims to play a part in an even bigger market with vast potential. Due to the rise of e-commerce, coping with demands for fast deliveries is becoming a crucial aspect of business and intralogistics.
“The cost for the use of manpower is no longer profitable compared to switching to a fully-upgraded, automated warehouse solution. At the same time customers demand getting the right product delivered to the right place at the right time, and the expectation of 24-hour-delivery is also constantly increasing. This makes perfect timing for Element Logic to expand into the Benelux” says Chief Sales Officer Håvard Hallås at Element Logic.
Using AutoStore, Element Logic have optimized warehouse performance for numerous clients in various industries for more than 15 years and proved that it represents the future of warehousing. Companies in the Benelux region will now be able to enjoy the same advanced level of warehouse automation.
“Promising sectors for AutoStore in the Benelux are e-commerce in general, divided over apparel & sports equipment, consumer electronics, parts distribution and pharmaceutical companies, as well as 3PL companies” Pauls concludes.
