To meet the demands of an increasingly dynamic e-commerce landscape, FIEGE sought a solution that not only streamlined their omnichannel operations but also ensured scalability for future growth. With Element Logic as their trusted partner, FIEGE implemented one of Germany’s largest automation systems, supported by the SuPCIS-L8 Warehouse Management System (WMS). 

The WMS, developed by S&P, a part of the Element Logic Group, serves as the backbone of the new system, ensuring flexibility in managing complex warehouse processes. This software integration allows FIEGE to seamlessly onboard new customers, execute precise order processing, and at the same time maintain smooth operations across a multi-user site. 

This results in increased accuracy, reduced processing times, and enhanced overall efficiency – all crucial for maintaining a competitive edge. 

The AutoStore system offers an integrated and scalable solution that meets these demands. It provides us with increased storage capacity in a significantly smaller footprint while minimizing the need for manual order picking. As a result, we greatly accelerated the overall warehouse throughput time.

The installation, which spans two fire-separated halls, optimizes FIEGE’s 80,000 m² logistics site. The AutoStore system is controlled by Element Logic’s advanced software solutions. While the hardware ensures increased storage density and reduced manual labor, the software ecosystem leads data-driven decisions, ensuring maximum throughput and minimal downtime.

FIEGE decided to implement the SuPCIS-L8 warehouse management system (WMS) to control the complex order processing at the logistics center.  SuPCIS-L8 takes over inventory management as well as material flow and process control. The eController from Element Logic controls the transfer cells and, in this way, links the bins conveyor technology from the incoming goods department with the AutoStore system. Both the eController and SuPCIS-L8 are connected to Element Logic’s eHub communication platform.
