Boozt’s Remarkable Growth with the World’s Largest AutoStore
Headquartered in Malmö, Sweden, Boozt has experienced exceptional growth in recent years, becoming the Nordic region’s largest online department store.
Pioneering and Future-Proof
Boozt processes 190,000 fashion and lifestyle items daily, serving 3.5 million customers across 26 European countries with an impressive 63-second order fulfillment time. This efficiency is made possible by their AutoStore system from Element Logic, comprising 1,243 robots, 1,245,000 bins, and 301 ports, making it the world’s largest AutoStore.
Since its founding in 2009, Boozt has evolved into a leading online fashion store. As their business grew, so did their warehousing and logistics requirements. Boozt installed their first AutoStore system from Element Logic in March 2017, with their need for automation expanding alongside their growth.
We have operated our automated warehouse since the end of March 2017 with a positive result. To keep up with the growth in the number of orders, it is important for us that our logistics is one step ahead.
Hermann Haraldsson, CEO of Boozt
With the world’s largest AutoStore warehouse, Boozt was also the first to implement the Black Line robots empowered by Element Logic, positioning them as both industry leaders and pioneers.
“We are happy to take our commitment to automation and development to the next level in collaboration with Element Logic and AutoStore,” says Sven Thiessen, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Boozt.
The strong collaboration between Boozt and Element Logic is mutually recognized. Marcus Rasmusson, Aftermarket Director at Element Logic Sweden, highlights the benefits of their ongoing communication:
“Boozt and Element Logic have a close collaboration and have continuous discussions about new adaptations to the market, which means that Boozt can stay one step ahead of the growth curve.”
Continuous Expansion to Meet Demand
Boozt has frequently expanded their AutoStore system with Element Logic to meet increasing demand and manage peak seasons like Black Friday.
“The expansion of Autostore gives us complete flexibility and lets us add additional bins and picking robots when the order volume increases,” Hermann Haraldsson states.
